Women and girls in the Philippines are in need of your support.

What is the THRIVE-BHW Project?

The Transforming Health Systems through Resilient, Inclusive, and Valued Engagement of Barangay Health Workers (THRIVE-BHW) is a three-year project that strengthens Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) — the backbone of community health care in the Philippines.

The project works with 2,000 BHWs across Quezon Province — 99% of them women — to build their primary health care competencies, develop sustainable livelihoods, expand their leadership and voice, and strengthen the national BHW Federation, so communities have stronger, more resilient health services.

It is implemented by CARE Philippines with funding support from the Tijori Foundation.
