Applications now open for Humanitarian Partnership Platform 2.0 membership!

CARE Philippines invites organizations across the country to apply for membership in the Humanitarian Partnership Platform (HPP) 2.0. Applications close on 15 November 2026.
Since 2013, HPP has helped organizations work together on disaster preparedness, humanitarian response, recovery, and resilience-building in the Philippines. HPP 2.0 expands this work into a multi-stakeholder platform. It brings together civil society organizations, government institutions, community organizations, the private sector, financial service providers, and academic and technical institutions. The goal is to strengthen locally led humanitarian action and help partners act together before, during, and after emergencies.
Why join HPP 2.0
Members gain:
- Standing access to HPP coordination, preparedness, and response mechanisms
- Recognition as a vetted partner in a shared humanitarian network
- Opportunities for peer learning, information sharing, and joint capacity strengthening
- A structured channel into joint planning ahead of and during emergencies, so members don’t have to engage case by case
Membership does not include funding, grants, procurement opportunities, or contracts. Separate agreements govern any financial or operational collaboration.
Who can apply
Any organization or institution in the Philippines that contributes to humanitarian preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience may apply. HPP 2.0 especially seeks to expand the participation of local and community-based organizations.
Applicants must show:
- Legal or institutional standing
- A mandate or track record in humanitarian action, disaster risk reduction (DRR), resilience, or related work
- A designated focal point for coordination with HPP
- Commitment to humanitarian principles and HPP’s safeguarding standards
Existing HPP members don’t need to reapply. Their membership continues under HPP 2.0.
