The purpose of the role is to manage overall areas of new business development and designing programs in line with the CARE Philippines program strategy and CARE International Vision 2030 priorities. This position is responsible for identification new business/funding opportunities, leading on development of concept notes and proposals (as requested), keeping track on past, current and new business opportunities, coordinating resource mobilization strategy and donor cultivation plans of CARE Philippines, to successfully deliver results, build/maintain relationships and secure funds from existing and potential donors/partners.
The position requires to work closely with CARE Philippines Senior Leadership Team, including the program, finance and program support teams, and MEAL, Gender, Communication and Knowledge Management focal points. This position will also coordinate and work closely with Asia Regional Management Unit, CARE USA Institutional Funding and Strategy (IFS) team, and relevant teams of other CARE International members.
The Safety and Security Manager will support CARE Philippines offices, and its humanitarian and development programs in various locations across the Philippines by ensuring that relevant and achievable safety and security protocols are established and maintained in order to best provide for staff safety and program continuity. This position will be based in Quezon City, NCR.
CARE is seeking a Gender-Based Violence & Protection in Emergencies Advisor, located in our Asia Region, to support our Global efforts. The GBV & Protection in Emergencies Advisor will be part of CARE USA’s Humanitarian Affairs Department and will play a critical role in ensuring technical quality of CARE’s GBV in Emergencies (GBViE) and protection mainstreaming and standalone programming through support to program design and resource mobilization; implementation; monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL); and research and policy work.

The post holder reports to the CARE USA Head of Safeguarding and PSHEA and is responsible for socialising and raising awareness of CARE International’s Safeguarding and PSHEA policy.
This position will sit under the Innovation Team within the Impact + Innovation Department (directly reporting to the Director – Innovation with a dotted reporting line to the Regional Director) and will support solutions in CARE’s stage-gated innovation pipeline. The Regional Advisor will work closely with in-country staff and the Impact + Innovation Team to identify internal and external solutions with potential to transform CARE and the sector, develop pathways to scale, and use rapid experimentation and iteration to refine and validate.
CARE is seeking a Regional Business Development Coordinator (RBDC) who will be a part of a growing IFS team. Reporting directly to the IFS Director of Bid Coordination, the RBDC plays a key role in planning, managing and coordinating CARE’s response to funding opportunities with the US Government and other institutional donors such as the World Bank. Based in the Asian Region, the RBDC will work closely with CARE’s Regional Management Unit (RMU) and Country Offices (COs) to help develop and manage relationships with USG and other institutional donors. S/he will look for opportunities to highlight CARE’s work to build our brand, shape donor perceptions, and pre-position CARE for bidding on high-priority opportunities. Working closely with staff from COs, HQ-based technical staff, and other IFS colleagues, she/he coordinates the preparation, development, and submission of technical and cost proposals. This includes ensuring proposal quality, responsiveness, and compliance with donor and CARE requirements, including building capacity of country office personnel on donor regulations and promoting consistent adherence to best practices in resource mobilization.
